Our client is a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) developing flexible generation and energy storage (including battery, pumped storage hydro (PSH), and green hydrogen) projects. They are actively looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of projects within their portfolio to time, cost, at the correct quality level and to the agreed specification.
Responsible for delivery of projects, specific duties to include:
•Responsible for health, safety and environmental compliance and alignment with KPIs.
•Provide leadership and management to the project team.
•Ensure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits as defined in the Project Execution Plan.
•Plan and manage the work in accordance with the project baseline schedule.
•Manage Project risks and make certain the project is on time and to budget.
•Maintain quality standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Manage the change management process whilst working within authorised limits.
•Manage interface works to reduce risk and escalating project issues where necessary.
•Ensure project assurance maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Overall schedule and progress reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Routine stakeholder liaison and point of contact for the company. (Internal & External)
•Management and coordination of information flow from design teams.
•Other tasks as delegated by Project Director.
•Agreement of final subcontracts prior to award.
Responsibilities
•Project Complexity – Manages multiple small to medium sized projects.
•Number of projects and/or clients - Manages multiple clients and/or projects.
•Subcontractor management - Maintains close relationship with subcontractor peers.
•Risk to company profit and loss responsibility - Manages risk on cost based and lump sum projects.

Education & Qualifications
•Health, Safety and Environment - Recognisable health and safety qualification from; NEBOSH General Certificate; IOSH Managing Safely; SMTS 5-day course.
•Project Management professional qualification at PMQ for APM level.
•Certified Level 3 (or equivalent) engineering qualification.
