Our client is a newly established power and gas sales company in Poland, backed by an integrated European energy company, headquartered in Switzerland, with activities in natural gas and power, focused on multi-commodity wholesale, trading and sales, as well as energy infrastructure and industrial assets.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead their sales efforts, focusing on building direct sales to key accounts and developing a network of agents to sell to SMEs. This is a unique opportunity to shape the sales strategy of a growing energy company and drive significant impact in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Leadership: Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve company goals, focusing on direct sales to key accounts and building a network of agents for SME sales.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Team Building & Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a results-driven team culture.
• Network Development: Develop and manage a network of external sales brokers and business partners to expand market reach.
• Innovative Solutions: Create and implement innovative solutions and products for clients, leveraging industry trends and customer insights.
• Data & Automation: Emphasize the use of data and automation to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
• Market Insight: Monitor market trends and contribute to the development of sales strategies based on industry changes.
• Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline development, and team performance to the executive team.
• Technical Communication: Effectively communicate technical aspects to clients and collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Negotiation & Closing: Play a key role in negotiating and closing sales agreements and contracts, aligning terms with the company's goals and policies.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in key account management and sales strategy development. Strong network in the Polish market is essential.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Expertise: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, achieving sales goals, and leading a sales team, especially in B2B sales.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team towards common goals.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Language: Fluency in Polish and English.
