Senior Project Manager - Nuclear & SMR - East Coast
My client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Nuclear and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) projects for an innovative energy company specializing in advanced nuclear technologies. Based in the United States, this role will oversee projects at various stages, ensuring development and delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of nuclear/SMR projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.
Lead contractor engagement, value engineering, procurement, and risk management.
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
Drive cost control, scheduling, and compliance with local and national codes.
Ensure HSE standards are met across all phases.
Prepare project reports, technical reviews, and manage stakeholder communication.
Desired Candidate Profile:
5-8 years’ experience managing energy or infrastructure projects.
Background in EPC or contractor-side delivery preferred.
Strong skills in project financial management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
Technical degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or Construction Management preferred.
Proven ability to mentor teams, resolve issues, and deliver results.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
Location & Working Arrangement:
This is a remote position based in the United States, offering geographical flexibility. The client's preferred locations would be on the East Coast.
