Operations (/Office) Manager – Search Firm – Internal Vacancy

We (Mint Selection) are a dynamic fast-growing Search Firm based in London Bridge, specialising in the Energy Transition sector; an industry that’s booming with globally impactful projects. As we continue on an ambitious growth trajectory over the next five years (including plans to continue our international expansion in Europe/US), we are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and personable Operations Manager to support our team and ensure the smooth running of the business operations.

This role will be central to the day-to-day efficiency and long-term scalability of the business. The right candidate will bring structure, initiative, and a high level of ownership to a broad range of responsibilities, from office management and systems support, to compliance, onboarding, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the office, maintaining a clean, well-organised and welcoming environment.
  • Manage office suppliers, facilities and third-party service providers
  • Act as the office lead for Health & Safety, including Fire Warden and First Aid duties etc.
  • Coordinate internal communications, including weekly updates and bi-monthly company newsletters
  • Systems & Technology Support: Manage IT equipment, support, and user access across key platforms (e.g. CRM, Outlook, Reporting tools +)
  • Ensure system security and data protection protocols are followed
  • Process Support & Compliance Management: Maintain up-to-date Terms & Conditions, issue engagement letters, and manage documentation for client agreements and placements
  • Oversee contractor compliance and support internal audit processes
  • Support organising company trips abroad, company events and conferences.
  • Support with ad hoc Executive Assistance tasks for our Founder, and Senior team members
  • Charity & Community Engagement: coordinate company involvement with events and charitable initiatives
  • Support Onboarding and Offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience, including IT set-up, workspace preparation and Systems training
  • Set-up new employees with all required equipment and system access during onboarding

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in office or operations assistance/management, preferably within a fast-paced, fast-growth, or professional services environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail (particularly important when dealing with compliance and T&C’s).
  • Confident communicator, able to work across teams, support internal stakeholders and hold Employees to account
  • Comfortable managing systems and learning new technology platforms quickly
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and ability to work independently
  • A friendly, switched-on, and supportive nature
