Sales Manager – Biogas Equipment
My client, a well-established player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced sales manager to lead business development for biogas upgrading and liquefaction technology. This role will focus on expanding market presence, securing new business, and supporting integrated biogas solutions across waste-to-energy, agriculture, municipal waste treatment, industrial applications, and renewable energy production.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in capital equipment sales and a well-developed network in the biogas and energy industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors, engaging with project developers, EPC contractors, utility companies, and government agencies.
Lead contract negotiations, providing both commercial and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to refine and optimise biogas solutions based on market demand and client feedback.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
Report on sales performance, pipeline development, and key market insights to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum ten years of experience in sales or business development within the biogas, gas treatment, or broader energy sector.
Strong track record in selling capital equipment and complex technical solutions.
Well-established network within the biogas, energy, and utility industries.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and strong negotiation skills.
