Role - Construction Manager
Location - Belgium
A key client of Mint Selection are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a long term contract for one of their flagship projects.
Scope of work:
Oversee all on-site construction operations, including planning, coordination, and supervision
Ensure that all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams
Interface with contractors, consultants, and public authorities to ensure seamless project execution
Track progress, manage timelines, and report on key milestones and KPIs
Lead site meetings and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning
Resolve technical and logistical challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Support contract management and claims processes where needed
Requirements
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy-related construction projects
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, offshore/onshore logistics, and HSE standards
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
Familiarity with project management and BIM tools is advantageous
Willingness to travel as required by the project
This role will be an initial 12 month contract with a high probability of extension beyond this point.
