Business Development Manager – EV Charging Infrastructure (Germany)

Our client is a leading developer and operator of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, with a strong reputation for delivering high-performance public and commercial charging networks across Germany and Europe. Backed by a robust balance sheet and deep energy sector expertise, the business is scaling rapidly to meet growing demand from municipalities, fleet operators, and retail networks seeking to decarbonise transport and improve accessibility to fast and ultra-fast charging.

With a focus on site acquisition, strategic partnerships, and long-term infrastructure deployment, the company is now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand its EV charging footprint across key German regions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, approach, and secure strategic locations for EV charging stations (public and commercial)
• Develop partnerships with municipalities, retail chains, real estate owners, and fleet operators
• Structure commercial agreements (e.g. lease, concession, JV) and lead negotiations through close
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across Germany
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment
• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and stakeholder meetings
• Contribute to the evolution of go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and growth plans

Your Profile:
• 4+ years of business development or sales experience in EV charging, mobility, energy, or infrastructure
• Demonstrable success sourcing and securing B2B or public-sector partnerships in Germany
• Strong understanding of EV infrastructure business models, mobility trends, and policy drivers
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills; confident in client-facing discussions
• Self-starter with a structured and results-oriented approach to business development
• Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings and site visits
